Profile
Composer, musician, instrument maker and sound artist working across experimental composition, electromechanical string instruments and live performance. A Sonology graduate of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, I develop instruments and acoustic/electronic systems as part of the compositional process.

Historical Iranian Music Machines — Museum Speelklok, Utrecht
Commissioned by Museum Speelklok to reconstruct the Morasa Ghayebi and a Tanboor Box from historical descriptions and research, combining historical interpretation, tuning, acoustics, mechanical design and fabrication.
D//Am0re — with Leslee Smucker & Johan van Kreij
Hardware developer and instrument designer for research augmenting the viola d’amore through electromagnetic resonance; designed and built resonators for its sympathetic strings. Supported by Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.
The Floor is Dancing — BIG BANG Festival, Amare, The Hague
Technical consultant and installation builder for a Royal Conservatoire student project presented at BIG BANG Festival; advised the class on technical and conceptual development and built the interactive installation.
Embedded/Embodied — Farzaneh Nouri & Arash Akbari
Hardware technician and technical consultant for an interactive AI sound installation commissioned by Sonic Acts and Het HEM. Built and assembled hardware and supported technical integration.
Electromechanical String Instruments — Sustain Puppeteer / Misfit Harp
Designer and builder of experimental string instruments using electromagnetic sustain, motor-controlled tension and feedback, developed through the bachelor research Dialogue of Strings.

Ensembles & Collaborative Practice
Spaceship Ensemble
Performer and technical contributor; roles include guitar, bass, Misfit Harp, sound and instrument building in a contemporary-music ensemble combining conventional instruments with custom acoustic, electronic and electromechanical systems.

Live sound engineering, recording, guitar and instrument repair, custom electronics and technical production. Work has included the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Het Nutshuis, Musicon, Rewire Festival and Studio Loos.

AV & Electronics Technician. Built, assembled, repaired and maintained audio/electronic equipment for Sonology and Composition studios; provided technical support and assisted with recording and performance production.
